Goldman Sachs executive to lead Nature Conservancy

The Nature Conservancy selected long-time Goldman Sachs executive Mark R. Tercek as president and CEO. Tercek, who joins TNC in July, is a managing director and head of Goldman Sachs Center for Environmental Markets and the Environmental Strategy Group. He started with the investment bank in 1984 and became a partner in 1996. Tercek has led various sectors for Goldman Sachs, including consumer/health care, equity capital markets, real estate, and transportation.
